Tibetan Buddhism Goes Public In Port
Townsend

Year’s Eve) there will be no class. Classes will begin again January 3rd.)

Beginning December 3rd, Port Townsend’s Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Teacher, Upasaka Bodhisattva, Drimed Dorje will hold open class each Saturday morning at Phoenix Rising. These classes are designed to offer instruction for beginning to advanced level practitioners of meditation.

• What did the Buddha actually teach?
• How does one begin to practice meditation?
• What is Karma and Reincarnation?
• What are the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths?
• What is Right View and Right Action in today’s modern world?
• What is the Root Cause of Suffering?
• What is the Root Seed of Happiness?
• What is Bodhichitta and how to practice it successfully?

Each week, Drimed Dorje will explore these and other Buddhist concepts, stories and techniques you can put into practice. These classes are in an open forum where a person with beginning interest will feel comfortable in group discussion, open dialogue or simply sitting and listening to The Buddha’s teachings and find them easy to understand and put into practice.
