: From Bellingham
take I-5 south to SR
20 (exit #230) to Whidbey Island follow SR 20 to the Port Townsend / Keystone
ferry dock. Once across the Puget Sound the ferry landing in Port Townsend is
in the downtown area. | | From
Edmonds take the ferry to Kingston. Then take SR 104 west toward Port Gamble
and the Hood Canal Bridge. Follow SR 104 to SR 19 Beaver Valley Rd. Follow SR
19 to SR 20. SR 20 becomes Sims Way and goes into the heart of downtown Port Townsend.
From Olympia
take US 101 north to SR 20. This will go directly to the heart of
downtown Port Townsend on Water Street.
From
Seattle take the Bainbridge Island ferry from Colman Dock. Then take SR 305
north on Bainbridge island toward Poulsbo continue on until SR 305 connects with
SR 3 north. Follow SR 3 north to SR 104 west across the Hood Canal Bridge. Follow
SR 104 to SR 19 Beaver Valley Rd. Follow SR 19 to SR 20. SR 20 becomes Sims Way
and goes to the heart of downtown Port Townsend. |  |

take I-5 to SR 16 east toward the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Follow SR 16 to SR3 near
Bremerton. Follow SR 3 north to SR 104 west across the Hood Canal Bridge. Follow
SR 104 to SR 19 Beaver Valley Rd. Follow SR 19 to SR 20. SR 20 becomes Sims Way
and goes to the heart of downtown Port Townsend. |

Water Street, on the corner of Water and Quincy streets The
highway leading into town is SR20. Continue on the highway as it becomes Sims
Way, and then Water St. when you enter the Historic District. If arriving by ferry,
turn right as you leave the dock. 696
